I wished to let you all know that I and some others have decided to move on from the HC to form our own small RP-lite/PvP guild, The Protectorate.

We've not chosen to do this out of any animosity; we simply feel that this guild-ship has been rudderless for awhile, far too long really, and is simply drifting at best. We've been trying to keep things fresh here but feel a bit like we're bailing water now, and that it's time to move on.

This wasn't a snap decision by any means and we don't have hard feelings towards anyone in the guild or its leaders. There's just too few active players and no way to lead it back out of the wilderness ourselves; it's not our guild concept to be screwing around with. We're just looking for a fresh start and to step back out of the shadows and back onto the national stage.

This guild has been more than kind to me personally to re-accept me since my return to the game. If any HC member ever finds themselves guildless, they can look to the Protectorate for a home in the future. I hope to see you all around on the open seas.

Yeah, I'm in the Protectorate with the crew. Not much else to say, it was a fun time, even if it was shorter than everyone else.

I have enjoyed the times we have sailed together and look forward to times we will again. Namo will remain with the Highland Confederacy as he is far too old to change his way again. I do understand your reasons the House of Stewart does look hopeless and many have lost site of the Jacobit way.

I have talked with my 2 sons Danivar and Danto both have the desire to follow you to the new Society and I won't stop them. You will always be welcome here. Consider the HC a second home if you need assistance give us a shout.

Time will tell what happens in the next few weeks.
