Uncouth

I wonder how uncouth it would be to set this as my sail or personal flag?

I wonder if, despite my name tag it might throw off or confuse any pirates that would happen upon me?

P.S. It was the flag flown by Henry Every.

I don't think there would be anything wrong with a free trader flying a "pirate's" flag, but I don't think it'll be effective at throwing people off... As I understand it, flags will only really be visible in any decent amount of detail when you're already within a battle instance.

That was sort of my idea, blending in so that other pirates would think I'm one of them and pass me up. But, based on what monsieur deMontfort said, it would likely be of no benifit. Further more even if it did work, it may have the opposite effect I want by attracking unwanted English and Spanish ships to me. So, I think I will scratch this idea. Thank you all for your thoughts.
